One of the best experiences we had in Japan! The staff at Seizan Yamato are extremely friendly and helpful, doing everything they can to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean, and every day the staff would check in with us about breakfast and dinner times. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We celebrated my birthday at Seizan Yamato, and they kindly offered a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and even helped us order a birthday cake. A special thank you to Mr. Ikeda and Ms. Ae for making our time at Seizan Yamato so unforgettable. We will definitely come back again!

The ryokan is rather modern, in a classic Japanese style. It has four baths, two of them outdoors, which are especially nice. We had a room with a large terrace, a little garden and an outdoor bathtub, which we enjoyed greatly. The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and went out of their ways to make sure we had have a good time. For example they changed the course for me, as I do not eat meat. It helps to speak some Japanese, but they are also prepared to communicate with guests who don’t.

My family and I had a wonderful time spending here, the picturesque scenery, the comfortable and authentic setting in the room, the beautiful ikebana deco and Japanese arts around making this place so aesthetically appealing. The food was beautifully presented and tasted so delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much and would like to stay here next trip to Ito.
